During our visit to the library, we unexpectedly came across a book sale right at the main entrance. As we explored the DVD section, my attention was caught by a film titled A Day Without A Mexican. Being of Mexican descent myself, I found it intriguing and decided to purchase it. The movie cover had an interesting appeal that drew me in, making it a worthwhile addition to my collection.

The RHA? recently organized their annual 24-hour sea saw event, which I had the pleasure of attending. I arrived at approximately 6pm, just in time for the arts and crafts event that was taking place. As the evening progressed, we transitioned into a lively bingo event, and to everyone's delight, Dominos pizza arrived, satisfying our hunger. After a few hours, I decided to step outside and give the sea saw a try, and I must say, it was an absolute blast!. To conclude the eventful day, we gathered for a movie screening, creating a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere.

The epic showdown of the Bassetties for Quigley Hall turned out to be a vibrant carnival filled with an array of games and delectable treats like cotton candy, hot dogs, and corn dogs. Initially, we didn't anticipate a large turnout, but as news spread about our event, droves of students flocked to the carnival, causing us to quickly deplete our food supplies.

Despite the unexpected rush, the atmosphere was electric, and it was truly heartwarming to witness the joy and excitement on the faces of those partaking in the festivities. The sense of community and camaraderie that permeated the event made all the hard work and preparation worthwhile, leaving us with lasting memories of a successful and enjoyable carnival.

While my friends excitedly headed to a thrilling baseball game, I stayed in the cozy confines of my lounge, determined to complete the pile of assignments that awaited me this week. As they cheered for their favorite team and soaked in the electric atmosphere of the stadium, I immersed myself in the world of academia, diligently working through the tasks at hand. Though I missed out on the camaraderie and excitement of the game, I found solace in the knowledge that I was making progress towards my academic goals.

A late-night stroll to the convenience store during a blustery evening at 4 in the morning. Venturing out in the dark, feeling the chill of the wind, and the eerie atmosphere of the deserted street. It captures the sense of solitude and quietude that comes with being out and about at such an unconventional hour, providing a glimpse into a unique and somewhat surreal moment in time.

Our leisurely stroll to the local Goodwill store in a small town. As we meandered through the charming downtown area, we couldn't help but admire the various shops and restaurants lining the streets. The bustling atmosphere and vibrant energy of the town added to the overall experience of our walk. Along the way, we made sure to capture the picturesque scenery by snapping photos of the beautiful surroundings (instagram). The photos serve as a visual diary of our journey, capturing the essence of the town and our leisurely walk to Goodwill. Finally reaching our destination, we felt a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as we browsed through the treasures waiting to be discovered at the thrift store.

Today was Emanuel's birthday, which turned out to be quite interesting. As he blew out the candles on his cake, everyone was in for a surprise when they noticed that the cake said "12" instead of his actual age of 21. It was a hilarious mix-up that had everyone laughing and wondering how such a mistake could happen. Despite the cake mishap, the celebration continued with a lighthearted spirit, making it a memorable moment for Emanuel and his loved ones, friends. Not only did Emanuel's birthday cake bring a good laugh, but the gifts he received also added an element of curiosity to the celebration. Some of the presents were questionable, leaving everyone intrigued about revealing a mix of quirky and unexpected surprises. From a rubber chicken to a Jesus candle, the gifts brought a playful and light-hearted atmosphere to the party.
