Alex's birthday celebration was quite eventful as we hurriedly set up the lounge while she was preoccupied. At approximately 10:30 pm, we led Alex into the Quigley Lounge, surprising her for her special day. Following the surprise, we indulged in a delectable chocolate cake and enjoyed some chocolate-covered strawberries. Once the gifts were unwrapped, we engaged in a lively game of Mario Party.

So, let me tell you about this crazy birthday party I attended recently. It was all about celebrating our dear SRA John's 21st birthday, and boy, did he choose a unique theme, NO! He didn’t choose the theme. Now, brace yourself, because this might sound a bit unusual, but the theme was none other than the infamous September 11th Attacks. I know, I know, it sounds a bit bizarre, but hear me out. John is studying aviation, and he probably wanted to pay tribute to the resilience and strength of the aviation industry. And the centerpiece of it all was a cake. It was truly a sight to behold! And let's not forget about the food. Now, I know what you're thinking. How on earth could a birthday party with such a theme be enjoyable? Well, surprisingly, it turned out to be a blast! Despite the controversy, everyone embraced the spirit of the occasion and had a great time. We shared stories, laughed, and even shed a few tears as we reflected on the significance of the day. It was a celebration of life, resilience, and the power of unity. So, kudos to other RAs, SRAs for thinking outside the box and giving John a birthday party he’ll never forget!

During our visit to the library, we unexpectedly came across a book sale right at the main entrance. As we explored the DVD section, my attention was caught by a film titled A Day Without A Mexican. Being of Mexican descent myself, I found it intriguing and decided to purchase it. The movie cover had an interesting appeal that drew me in, making it a worthwhile addition to my collection.

The RHA? recently organized their annual 24-hour sea saw event, which I had the pleasure of attending. I arrived at approximately 6pm, just in time for the arts and crafts event that was taking place. As the evening progressed, we transitioned into a lively bingo event, and to everyone's delight, Dominos pizza arrived, satisfying our hunger. After a few hours, I decided to step outside and give the sea saw a try, and I must say, it was an absolute blast!. To conclude the eventful day, we gathered for a movie screening, creating a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere.

The epic showdown of the Bassetties for Quigley Hall turned out to be a vibrant carnival filled with an array of games and delectable treats like cotton candy, hot dogs, and corn dogs. Initially, we didn't anticipate a large turnout, but as news spread about our event, droves of students flocked to the carnival, causing us to quickly deplete our food supplies.

Despite the unexpected rush, the atmosphere was electric, and it was truly heartwarming to witness the joy and excitement on the faces of those partaking in the festivities. The sense of community and camaraderie that permeated the event made all the hard work and preparation worthwhile, leaving us with lasting memories of a successful and enjoyable carnival.

While my friends excitedly headed to a thrilling baseball game, I stayed in the cozy confines of my lounge, determined to complete the pile of assignments that awaited me this week. As they cheered for their favorite team and soaked in the electric atmosphere of the stadium, I immersed myself in the world of academia, diligently working through the tasks at hand. Though I missed out on the camaraderie and excitement of the game, I found solace in the knowledge that I was making progress towards my academic goals.
